The Optimists
Our Aim And Purpose:
To
provide enjoyable sport in a friendly spirit to anyone (male or female)
who would like to play badminton for fun on a regular basis. Although
the games are competitive, the Club caters for all levels and abilities.
What sort of Club are we:
- Established in 1979
- Open to all ages over 18 but we particularly welcome back lapsed players
- We do not play league matches
- The Club has its own committee and constitution, and holds its AGM in February
- Observance of the laws of the British Badminton Association
- Organise social activities including a summer barbecue and Christmas meal
Where:
We play in sports hall 2, Bohunt School, Longmoor Road, Liphook GU30 7NY
When:
We play every Monday except Bank Holidays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
